DDA Building Services Consulting Engineers were proud to be chosen to carry out the first of the new format Cycle Republic Stores in London for Halfords.  Employed to undertake the M&E infrastructure design & planning direct for the client.

DDA were employed by Halfords to carry out initial site feasibility surveys on three proposed new format Cycle Republic stores working closely with a new design and delivery team.

Halfords aim to be the ‘number 1’ destination for cycle products and services. The retailer is envisaging as many as 100 cycle stores across the country within a few years. The first store to open was Euston Tower, shortly followed by a store in Margaret Street and a third in Lime Street, all in London.

The new format will be located in large town centres and targets keen cyclists who commute. Displaying a huge and varied product range, combined with in-store service provision, the stores aim to deliver an enthusiastic and professional welcome to the cycling community.

DDA are working in close collaboration with the Halfords Delivery team to provide a fully operational and energy efficient Cycle Republic brand.
